Our Team

Tiffany Middendorf, CPM, LM, ND

Owner | Clinical Director | Midwife | Naturopath

Growing up with a family in the natural foods business, I developed an appreciation for holistic health at a very young age. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, I attended naturopathic school, earning a degree as a Naturopathic Doctor. The home birth of my first child, Madison, put me on the journey to ultimately becoming a midwife .

I have spent nearly 3 decades studying and practicing midwifery, attending the births of over 700 babies. As any midwife will confess, this is a lifestyle and not a job. We are a midwife family, and everyone pitches in to keep this midwife racing out the door to welcome a precious new life. While it may be a challenge to find balance, midwifery has taught me the greatest lesson, to value what is most important, our family, relationships, health, happiness and treating each other with compassion.

I am happy to share my life with my daughters, Madison and Sophie. My girls are my life’s happiness and I am so proud of them, not only for their accomplishments, but their kindness and compassion. I am loving this next chapter of my life as a New Orleans resident, embracing the culture, and spending time with my beloved family and friends.

Leila Poland Wyatt, CPM, LM

Midwife

A Louisiana native, Leila was born at home in Lacombe with midwives, and grew up around the normalcy of birth as an every day occurrence. Leila birthed both of her babies in a birth center in Florida and recalls her births as “orgasmic and life changing”. After becoming a doula, spinning babies parent educator, lactation counselor, birthing from within mentor, and midwife assistant, it was clear that Midwifery was her calling.

Leila took her education seriously and became a traveling student midwife in order to experience a wide variety of clinical sites, communities, and philosophies. This allowed her to become a well rounded, culturally respectful, and skilled provider. Leila has attended over 500+ births, and is skilled at twins, breech, VBAC, waterbirth, and birth in every type of environment. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Midwifery from Midwives College of Utah and is a Certified Professional Midwife through the North American Registry of Midwives. Leila is a Breech without Boarders trained provider and is owner and midwife at Devotion Midwifery.
